Kokoro Carvers is a unique partnership which designs and creates site-specific sculptural environments in stone. All of our public art projects establish a sense of place, provide for community interaction, and resonate with memory, history and human possibility. Our sculptures in stone are timeless, functional and innately appealing to the human spirit.
B. Amore and Woody Dorsey have collaborated on public art projects since 1991. Amore brings her experience as a sculptor, educator and community organizer. Dorsey, also a sculptor, has made extensive studies of stone in landscape. They are committed to the collaborative process and are experienced in working with landscape architects, design teams and communities.
